Halloween Fun

This Halloween we decided to go to pick out our own pumpkins. S we went to
the local pumpkin patch and the girls were able to pick their own. Holly
was a little grossed out by some of the moldy pumpkins on the lot, but the
girls both
had
fun. Cleaning them out was another story. Neither Holly or Sienna
like
the
feel of the internals of the pumpkins, Daddy tried to get them to
help but ended up doing much of it by himself. He also ended up
being the one to carve them as well. Since it is a house full of girls you
can see the pumpkins we carved were not scary at all. We also had a castle
and a Cinderella pumpkin, but could not find any of the pictures of those
ones. Holly went trick-or-treating as
Snow White, Mommy even cut her hair for it. Sienna went as a shark, and
when asked what a shark says she would reply with the music from
jaws...Na-Na... Na-Na... Na-Na-Na-Na-Na-Na-Naaaa.
Sorry you'll have to figure out the tune for yourself.

just
given up, either that or Mountain Dew killed them off! The baby
was
extremely active during the whole ultrasound, and everything looks good. The
baby is developing fine and everything is normal. Even though the Ultrasound of
the baby's face looks a little creepy (just in time for Halloween).
We
first went to our Niece's baby blessing in L.A. While we were there we
went to Goofy's Kitchen, it is a buffet style restaurant where the Disney
characters come and visit you while you are eating. It is a little
expensive for the quality of food. But it's worth it to see Holly's face
as Minnie Mouse comes up and gives her a kiss!
friends, we were able to get to San Francisco for half a day, we went to
The Zoo with our Friends Chris and Brooke and there little one. The rhino
was interesting as you can see by Dan's staring! Unfortunately this was
the only elephant
we saw, even though Holly's favorite animal is an Elephant.
girls swim. Holly is quite the courageous one running out deeper than her
older, much taller cousin Danielle. Lucky for her, Ben was there to catch her We got little sleep while camping, but it was worth it for
me. I was wanting to stay longer, Julie on the other hand was ready to leave.
The
girls enjoyed Easter this year, in their pretty new dresses. Holly
was able to help decorate and color
the eggs. Which she had fun doing, and didn't even make too much of a
mess! She also found quite a few eggs on her own, without us pointing them
out. Sienna, on the other hand, wasn't really sure what to do with the
basket or the eggs. So by the end of the day, Holly had a full basket and
Sienna was trying to
eat her one plastic egg!

only update your site once a year! As you can see
Holly has learned how to pout. She is turning into a very helpful big
sister, when she wants to. Sienna just enjoys playing dress up and being
the center of attention. She is finally starting to sleep through the
whole night (Only took a year!).
Sienna takes
her first steps without falling down. Technically she has been taking
steps for a month or so now. But usually that is only when we were
coxing her, to walk to one of us. Usually that just ended with
her falling down and crawling the rest of the way. But now she walks on her
own, and usually will chose to walk over crawling!!

We invited over family and had a party for little Sienna. Both Julie and myself tried our hand at
making a lady bug cake for Sienna. It takes a lot of red food
coloring to get a dark red color, but as you can see that didn't deter
Sienna from digging in!! We had to take her straight to the tub after
eating it, just to clean her up. I was surprised our tub didn't turn red
too!

loved climbing in things and hiding under sheets & blankets. So
her grandparents bought her a Disney princess tent. As you can see Holly
seems to enjoy Sienna's present more than she does!
